Job Description
Location- Onsite (Jeddah, KSA)
Technical Leadership: - Primary Technical Contact: Serve as the primary technical point of contact, addressing technical inquiries and providing expert guidance.
- DWH Expertise: Leverage your hands-on experience in DWH, with a strong focus on ETL and Reporting, to ensure data is processed faster and smoother.
- Architecture Knowledge: Demonstrate a solid understanding of DataStage and COGNOS architecture, including deployment options and key components.
- ETL Optimization: Utilize your DataStage expertise to guide the ETL team in optimizing ETL job performance, reducing runtime, and improving overall system efficiency.
- Database Skills: Possess strong SQL and Database query optimization skills and experience with various aspect of database (Oracle DB), optimize queries
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of DWH professionals, providing guidance, support, and career development opportunities.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements, Work closely with other IT teams, such as database administrators, BI analysts, and application developers, to ensure seamless integration and data flow.
Required Skills and Experience:
- In-depth understanding of DWH concepts, data modeling, and ETL processes
- Proven experience in performance tuning and optimization techniques
- Strong proficiency in DataStage and COGNOS
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong SQL skills and experience with database query and ETL job optimizations
- Experience in leading and mentoring technical teams
- Strong stakeholder management skills
