Mainframe Developer

Job Description Play a key role to develop an IT solution independently using mainframe skillset (PL/1, CICCS, DB2, JCL) Perform build & deploy of solutions with necessary quality assurance practices (Code review, Unit Testing,..) Understand the business requirements and active involvement in refining them to meet the intended usage Proactive in collaborating with-in & team(s) across the organization to deliver the projects & operation Skills: PL/1, JCL, IDMA, DB2, CICS Requirements Extensive expertise in mainframe technologies such as PL/I, JCL, VSAM, and CICS. Advanced understanding of database systems, particularly IDMS & DB2, and related tools. Proficient with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, Artifactory, and Jira. Expertise in developing pipelines for CI/CD processes. Experience in working with different IDE s, particularly IDz. Skilled in conducting \Impact Analysis\ and \Work Package Estimation\ for complex PL/I applications. Should be well-versed in SOAP and REST concepts and have experience in developing RESTful services. In-depth knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) principles. Working knowledge of Traditional & Agile/Scrum methodologies Well verse with Gen AI tools and use them to bring efficiency & quality into daily routine
