Position Summary :

We are looking for a highly capable IT support specialist to provide technical assistance to our staff. In this role, your duties will include ensuring optimal use of our hardware and software technologies, enhancing system performance, and securing data.

You will also be required to advise on IT equipment upgrades.

Essential duties and responsibilities :

- Server Administration for Microsoft Windows Server 2012R2+ (Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell, DNS, DHCP, RDS etc.)

- Providing IT assistance to staff and Training end-users on hardware functionality and software programs.

- Proficient in transferring FSMO roles between Domain Controllers.

- Administering Microsoft SQL Server 2008

- Installation and Administration (e.TCP/ IP, DNS, Group Policy, DHCP)

- Troubleshoot & resolve computer related issues when contacted by clients by providing both On- site & Remote support.

- Design Windows patch management strategy for windows servers.

- Excellent understanding of the organizations goals and objectives.

- Proven experience with systems planning, security principles, and general software management best practices.

- Developing and designing network architecture and computer systems infrastructure.

- Monitoring computer systems and networks for threats, malfunctions, and errors.

- Good understanding on Windows Event Viewer Logs.

- Office 365 Administration

- Monitor health events on Office365 and alert users ahead of time on incidents.

- Have hands experience on Cisco, Sophos or any other firewall systems.

- Troubleshooting SSL certificate and DNS related issues.

- Working with a ticketing system, tracking work done in hours and completing work according to set schedules.

- Negotiate with vendors and maintain IT Infrastructure.

- Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in technology, protocols, and best practices.

- Supervising the administration of systems & servers related network to ensure availability of services to authority users.

- Managing assigned projects & program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.

Required Skills and qualifications :

- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent combination of education and experience

- 5+ years' experience in software, hardware, networking, database and/or system troubleshooting/diagnosis problem solving technical support.

- Good English language skills (written and oral), including the ability to communicate well on complex technical issues in both one-to-one and large group settings

- Advanced networking knowledge and solid understanding and ability to of troubleshooting networking technologies (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, Wireless, Cabling).

- Good understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, network interfaces, network security.

- Adept to installation and troubleshooting Printer and scanners and other output devices.

- Excellent problem determination and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent time management and troubleshooting skills.
