Job Description

Implementation on commercial application like Process Historian, LIMS and other MES applications, e.g., Data reconciliation, Batch Management- etc.
Analyzing the reason for system performance and review/ re-write the systems and procedures to improve the system performance.
Expected to demonstrate full responsibility for the quality of the deliverables PLC/HMI/SCADA and features of iFIX SCADA.
Ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop engineering solution, PLC Systems such as Rockwell, SIEMENS, Mitsubishi etc.
Should be able to logically explain the behavior of the application and its configuration.
Development of management reports and interfacing of MES software with other software applications Like LIMS, ERP, Etc.
Integration of new equipment in existing C-DAS system with testing and Verification as and when required.
Shall be responsible to do the minor modification in existing system as per the site requirement with proper documentation and compliance.
Analyzing issues at the stage of implementation of MES application, develop solution and implement corrective actions, Identifying and resolving the root causes of the issue in the process and participates in resolving critical process and product problems with customer and vendors.
Interacting with Team for operational troubleshooting, process improvement projects, development of software utilities to address an issue or for general improvement.
Interacting with consultants and suppliers to determine the compatibility of other systems and products as they may apply to process improvement.
Analyzing operating problems to develop solutions and leas the implementation of corrective actions.
Providing professional training on the implementation/ Configuration process to internal employees.
The application Engineer will also support clients in revamp etc. that involve application improvements, sustainability, and modifications.
Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, strong attention to detail and time management is critical for success.
Exceptional customer service orientation and working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Willing to work off-shift times, as necessary, to complete projects.
Bachelor of Engineering / Related degree in Computer Applications with preferably a management degree.
As a Strategic Business Partner, proactively recommend IT Solutions / products to Quality Functional leaders by aligning to PPS vision and industry trends by bringing outside-in perspective
Acts as a change agent to create sustainable technology capabilities across PPS Quality.
Acts as a thought leader on emerging digital business models and technologies.
Lead IT strategic, operational planning and implementation to achieve business, prioritizing IT initiatives, and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future IT systems.
Knowledge about Electronic Content Management systems such as Empower, Agilent Openlab and Lab Analytical systems.
Review performance of IT systems to determine operating costs, manage IT Budgets and productivity levels.
Define and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices, working closely with management to help maintain FDA compliance on all IT infrastructure and applications as needed.
Leading and deploying significant IT Quality related product (e.g. LIMS, SAP, Paperless labs, EDMS) in a medium or large global pharma organizations.
Plan and coordinate IT-related activities provide direction and support for daily and mission-critical operations of the IT department.
Coordinate and facilitate consultation with relevant Site and IT stakeholders to define business and systems requirements for new technology implementations
Responsible for the prioritization of projects assigned to the Application Development team (either internal or with external partners)
