FME (Feature Manipulation Engine) Developer

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop FME workflows to integrate, transform, and migrate data from various sources, ensuring data accuracy and quality.
• Experience in FME Desktop (Mandatory) and FME Server (Mandatory)
• Collaborate with project teams to gather data requirements, understand business needs, and translate them into effective FME workflows.
• Perform spatial data analysis, including geospatial transformations, spatial joins, buffering, and coordinate system conversions.
• Develop custom transformers and functions using FME's scripting and programming capabilities to address unique project requirements.
• Optimize workflows for performance and efficiency, considering data volume and processing speed.
• Work with different data formats, including spatial and non-spatial data, databases, APIs, and cloud services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data transformation processes and workflow execution.
• Stay updated with the latest features and enhancements in the FME platform and propose their integration into existing workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, software developers, and GIS specialists, to deliver comprehensive solutions.
• Document workflows, processes, and technical specifications for future reference and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience as an FME Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful data integration and transformation projects.
