Operation Head/ Deputy Site Head

Role & responsibilities

• Annual Operation plan to be prepared in consultation with the Maintenance Department, customer requirements contractual deliverances.

• Budgeting: To support the Power Plant Manager in preparation of annual cost planning w.r.t. to Operation.

• Resources: To plan required External Services / Internal Services / Manpower Management / Sp. Tools & tackles

• Spares & Consumables: To Plan for Annual requirement of fuel and chemicals and Half yearly consumables requirement.
• To do a Competency assessment for the Operation team (ISGEC and Contractor employees).
• To contribute/facilitate in the development of systems and processes to improve Safety, Technical, and Financial performance.

• Daily / Monthly / Annual Key Performance Factors

• Defect identification and removal status (Pending)

• Review of Daily log sheets and log books.
• To ensure timely deliverance of Daily / weekly / Monthly / Annual performance reports to the Plant Manager and Customer as per agreed Way of working.
• Decision-making during any emergency operation. Liaoning with Boiler Inspectorate on need based. Manpower management within the department.
• To resolve customer/employee issues to the extent possible before it gets escalated to a higher level.
• External Customers, Vendors, contractors, external service providers, and prospective customers/visitors in the plant.
• TG Operation & Maintenance
• Boiler Operations and Maintenance
• Operation and Maintenance of Auxiliary equipment
• Boiler preservation
• Water chemistry
• Basic Knowledge of quality systems and OHSAS
• Knowledge about Emergency Preparedness and Response to Emergencies
