IRP systems is developing the next generation of high-performance e-powertrain systems that will change the electric vehicles market and we are seeking for an experienced Supply Chain logistics specialist in India.
Youll be responsible for the following
Develop and manage material forecasts based on production schedules and demand planning.
Physically inspect the material in the production line and Wearhouse.
Monitor and analyse inventory levels of raw materials and components to ensure alignment with production needs.
Collaborate with procurement to place timely purchase orders, ensuring materials meet quality and delivery standards.
Coordinate with production teams to identify material requirements and resolve any supply chain disruptions.
Conduct regular inventory audits and implement corrective actions for discrepancies.
Utilize Priority or any ERP system to track material availability and generate reports on inventory status and performance metrics.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance material planning processes and inventory management.
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to maintain strong relationships and ensure supply chain efficiency.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
[2-5] years of experience in material planning or inventory management, preferably within the automotive industry.
Strong understanding of supply chain processes, manufacturing operations, and inventory management principles.
Proficiency in Priority or any ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while managing multiple priorities.
Advantages
APICS certification or similar supply chain management certification.
Familiarity with automotive manufacturing processes and standards (e.g., TS16949, ISO 9001).
Experience with lean manufacturing principles and inventory optimization techniques.
