Job Description
- Perform a comprehensive assessment of the existing on-premises Oracle 19c database environment.
- Develop and implement a robust migration strategy for Oracle databases to AWS cloud services like RDS or Aurora.
- Configure and manage Oracle databases in the AWS cloud environment.
- Implement and maintain database security best practices in the cloud.
- Perform regular backups, recoveries, and disaster recovery planning for the database environment.
- Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure smooth operation.
- Provide technical support to development and operations teams regarding database access and functionality.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in administering Oracle databases (19c preferred).
- Strong understanding of Oracle database architecture, administration tools, and SQL.
- Experience with database migration techniques and cloud-based database management.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services for databases (RDS, Aurora) is a plus.
- Experience with database security best practices and compliance regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
