Role & responsibilities

• Perform advanced simulations using SIMULIA on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform
• Develop and validate simulation models to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
• Interpret and communicate simulation results to guide design decisions and optimizations
• Provide recommendations for design modifications based on simulation outcomes to enhance product performance and durability.
• Implement best practices for simulation and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Provide training and support to team members on SIMULIA and 3DEXPERIENCE tools and methodologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to simulation software and processes
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and integration of simulation activities.
• Participate in technical reviews, providing insights and recommendations based on simulation expertise.
• Document and present simulation methodologies, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the continuous improvement of simulation workflows.
• Explore and implement new features and functionalities of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform to enhance productivity and innovation.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors or masters degree in mechanical engineering, Marine Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in using SIMULIA for complex simulations and analyses.
• Extensive experience with the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, including integration and workflow automation.
• Proven track record of working on multidisciplinary projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in advanced FEA techniques using SIMULIA for various types of structural analysis (Direct Strength Analysis, Vibration, Fatigue, hydrodynamic analysis, hydroacoustic analysis
• Strong understanding of simulation best practices and industry standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Working experience on HYPERMESH, ANSYS and NASTRAN will be added advantages
• Familiarity with shipping industry processes is an added advantage
