Senior Costing / Tendering Manager (Furniture & Interior Industry)

*Job Summary:*

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Senior Costing and Tendering Manager. The ideal candidate will oversee the costing and tendering process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all project-related inquiries and vendor collaborations. This role requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills, excellent project understanding, and the ability to manage vendor and contractor relationships effectively.

*Key Responsibilities:*

1. *BOQ Review and Coordination:*

- Thoroughly review new inquiry BOQs and share them with the internal costing team for estimation.

- Distribute BOQs related to wet works to contractors and vendors, ensuring clarity and completeness.

2. *Cost Analysis and Verification:*

- Analyze project costs, ensuring alignment with the project scope and client requirements.

- Review all individual costs and the total figure before submission to the client, ensuring accuracy and accountability.

3. *Project Understanding and Site Visits:*

- Conduct site visits to gain a comprehensive understanding of project requirements and challenges.

- Collaborate with project teams to address specific site-related issues and ensure informed decision-making.

4. *Vendor and Contractor Management:*

- Build and maintain effective relationships with contractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of quotations and services.

- Negotiate pricing and terms with contractors/vendors to achieve the best value without compromising quality.

5. *Tender and Proposal Management:*

- Prepare detailed and competitive tender submissions, ensuring compliance with client requirements.

- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure timelines and deliverables are met effectively.

6. *Reporting and Documentation:*

- Maintain accurate records of all costing, tendering, and related communications for future reference.

- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management regarding project progress and challenges.
