Engagement Manager - Analytics
Job Summary:
- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Engagement Manager - Analytics to lead and manage analytics projects for our clients.
- The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a proven track record of delivering successful analytics solutions, building client relationships, and managing project teams.
- This role requires a deep understanding of analytics methodologies, excellent communication and client management skills, and the ability to translate business problems into actionable analytical solutions.
Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and challenges, and acting as a trusted advisor on analytics matters.
Project Management:
- Lead and manage analytics projects from initiation to completion, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
- This includes defining project scope, developing project plans, managing project resources, and tracking progress.
Solution Design:
- Work with clients to understand their business problems and translate them into analytical solutions.
- This includes selecting appropriate analytical methodologies, designing data collection strategies, and developing analytical models.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor project teams, providing guidance and support to analysts and other team members.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
Stakeholder Management:
- Manage communication and expectations with various stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and senior management.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing client accounts and contribute to business development efforts for new clients.
- This may involve proposal writing and presentations.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of analytical deliverables, implementing quality control processes and reviewing project outputs.
Thought Leadership:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in analytics and contribute to thought leadership initiatives, such as white papers, presentations, and webinars.
Resource Management:
- Manage project budgets and resources effectively, optimizing resource allocation and maximizing project profitability.
Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing potential issues and ensuring project success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering) or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 5 years of experience in analytics, with at least [Number] years in a client-facing or project management role.
- Strong understanding of various analytical methodologies, including statistical modeling, machine learning, data mining, and optimization.
- Proven track record of delivering successful analytics projects.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in using analytics tools and software (e.g., R, Python, SAS, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong business acumen and understanding of business processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
