Inventive Seeds Private Limited is seeking a suitable candidate for the role of “Farm Manager” to work closely with our team. The location base would be Agra, Uttar Pradesh. Your passion for the agriculture industry, sound technical knowledge and skills to fulfil this role will ensure that we continue to effectively grow our practice and deliver exceptional services to our client base.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities: -

• Crop & Farm Management
• Plan and oversee planting, cultivation, and harvesting of crops, ensuring the most efficient use of land and resources.
• Monitor and ensure the quality of crop, managing pest control, disease prevention, and environmental impact.
• Manage soil health, irrigation, and fertilization to maintain and increase farm productivity
• Staff Management and Training:
• Supervise, train, and lead farm workers, ensuring efficient and safe work practices.
• Develop work schedules and assign tasks to optimize farm labor and resources.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and farm protocols.
• Equipment and Facility Maintenance:
• Oversee the maintenance, repair, and replacement of farm machinery and equipment.
• Recordkeeping and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of crop production, equipment, and labor.
• Prepare regular reports on farm operations, production, financials, and issues for senior management.

Qualifications: -

• Bachelor/master’s degree in agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture or related field
• 3 to 4 years’ experience in Farm Managing.
• Knowledge of seed market compliances will be an added advantage.
• Data management and analysis e.g., planning, budgeting etc.
• Must be able to deal effectively with organisational complexity and ambiguity
