Ability to write code for custom keywords

Job Description:We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automation frameworks and testing methodologies, with specific expertise in Robot Framework and associated libraries. This role involves developing, executing, and maintaining automation scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Automation Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using the Robot Framework.
• Leverage libraries associated with Robot Framework, such as Selenium Library, Browser Library, and Appium Library.
• Create custom keywords by writing reusable and maintainable code for complex test scenarios.

1. Manual and Automated Testing:

• Perform automated, manual, functional, and regression testing for web and mobile applications.
• Identify test cases for automation to improve test efficiency and coverage.

1. Programming and Development:

• Utilize Java and HTML5 to enhance automated testing capabilities.
• Collaborate with developers and other team members to identify, log, and resolve bugs effectively.

1. Version Control and Collaboration:

• Use Git, Fork, or other repository managers to manage and track code changes.
• Work with version control systems to ensure efficient collaboration and code integrity.

1. Test Management:

• Manage test plans and document test cases and results using Azure DevOps or other test management tools.
• Track bugs and ensure timely resolutions with proper documentation and follow-up.

Required Skills:

• Expertise in Robot Framework, with hands-on experience in libraries such as Selenium, Browser, and Appium.
• Ability to write custom keywords and develop complex automation scripts.
• Proficiency in Java and familiarity with HTML5 markup.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Fork, or similar repository managers.
• Strong understanding of automated, manual, functional, and regression testing techniques.
• Experience in test management and bug tracking tools like Azure DevOps.
