Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Test Manager to oversee our testing processes, ensure the quality of deliverables, and lead a team of testers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of testing methodologies, hands-on experience with various testing tools, and the ability to collaborate across teams to drive quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Execution:

Define the testing strategy, approach, and execution for projects.

Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements.

Manage and track testing schedules, resources, and deliverables.

Team Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA testers.

Assign tasks, review work, and ensure timely completion of testing activities.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and comply with the defined processes.

Monitor defect tracking, resolution, and root cause analysis.

Perform risk assessment and develop mitigation strategies.

Collaboration:

Work closely with project managers, developers, and business analysts to understand requirements and define testing needs.

Act as the primary point of contact for all QA-related activities.

Tools & Reporting:

Utilize test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or similar.

Provide regular status reports, including key metrics like test coverage, defect density, and resolution rate.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

8+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance, with at least [2+ years] in a leadership role.

Strong knowledge of testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and best practices.

Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, Postman, etc.).

Familiarity with performance and security testing.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective team management and stakeholder collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications

ISTQB Certification or equivalent.

Experience in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
