SAP ABAP Developer - FI/CO Modules (3-5 yrs)

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS) concepts.

- Develop and maintain ABAP programs such as reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms.

- Implement and maintain RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflow) components.

- Build and optimize CDS (Core Data Services) views for efficient data retrieval and analysis.

- Develop and maintain OData (Open Data Protocol) services for seamless data integration with other systems.

- Collaborate closely with functional teams (e.g., business analysts, project managers) to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Participate in all phases of the SAP implementation lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment.

- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to SAP applications.

- Analyze and optimize existing ABAP code for performance and maintainability.

- Perform unit testing and integration testing to ensure the quality of developed solutions.

- Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in SAP ABAP development, including SAP

S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, and SAP UI5.

Required Skills :

- Extensive experience in ABAP programming, including OOPS concepts, data dictionaries, internal tables, modularization, and debugging.

- In-depth knowledge of RICEFW components.

- Proficiency in developing and maintaining CDS views.

- Experience with OData services and data integration techniques.

- Good understanding of SAP modules (e.g., FI, CO, SD, MM) is a plus.

- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and its implications for ABAP development is preferred.

Desired Skills :

- Experience with SAP UI5 or other SAP front-end technologies.

- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.

- Experience with SAP HANA database.

- Experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).
