Job Description
- Manage Marketing Assets: Create compelling visual content for our marketing campaigns, educational materials, and digital platforms (Ads, brochures, email headers, etc). Templatize marketing assets to ensure a quick turnaround time.
- Direct IK s Visual Identity : Spearhead the development and refresh of our visual identity, ensuring that it s modern, engaging, and reflective of our mission. Let s start a creative revolution in the ed-tech space!
- Essential UI design skills: Contribute partly to the development of a comprehensive UI design system. Design graphics/illustrations for use within UI to enhance user engagement and support our brand identity.
- Complete Ownership: Take full ownership of projects from conception to final execution, ensuring the highest quality and consistency across all visual elements.
- Immerse yourself in the intersection of design, technology, and education, expanding your skills and creative boundaries.
- Collaborate with top professionals and educators in the tech and design fields.
- Play a pivotal role in defining and directing the visual identity of IK and directly impact the visual appeal and effectiveness of our educational platforms, influencing the learning and career paths of thousands.
- Thrive in a culture that values innovation, education, and making a difference.
- Be a part of a team where ownership is highly valued, and each team member is expected to take full responsibility for their projects.
- A Bachelor s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 4-5 years of experience as a Visual Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing skills in graphic/visual design, branding strategy, and some experience with UI.
- Should be proficient in creating master layouts, design campaigns from scratch
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud (tools such as photoshop, illustrator), Figma, and other relevant software
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationales to team members and stakeholders.
- A proactive, creative thinker with a problem-solving mindset, eager to take on challenges and contribute to the teams success.
- Ability to understand our users and their context and designing for it
- Ability to translate business and marketing requirements into designs
- Experience working with cross functional teams
- Bonus: any experience with video editing and/or motion graphics software (lottie or rive)
- Preferably from Edtech, Ecommerce, Consumer Tech
