Infra Web Application Security Engineer

• Design, implement, and manage security solutions using Mimecast, McAfee, or similar primary vendors.
• Deploy and manage EDR and XDR solutions to detect and respond to security incidents.
• Troubleshooting of any issues related to web connectivity
• Upgrade / Patching of systems on need basis in coordination with active vendor support
• SSL renewal for web applications, IP blacklisting based on SOC review and approval
• Monitor network traffic and analyze security events to identify and mitigate threats.
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure network security best practices are followed.

CERTIFICATIONS(Any three):

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCNP Security

TECHNICAL SKILLS /COMPETENCIES:

MANDATORY

• Hands-on experience with email security solutions (Mimecast, McAfee, or similar primary vendors).
• Strong expertise in Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and Extended Detection and Response (XDR) solutions.
• In-depth understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
• Deep understanding of cloud security concepts and cloud environment management.
• Hands-on experience in application security, including vulnerability assessment and mitigation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
