Technical Specialist Security - Infra Network security

Role & responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage network security solutions using Checkpoint, Forcepoint, Fortinet, and Cisco ASA/FTD.
• ACL provisioning based on the user request through Service desk Plus
• Troubleshooting for existing services access issues
• New small site implementation by installation of new firewalls in sites offices & establish the connectivity and ACLs
• Existing firewall Firmware/ios/software upgrade on need basis in coordination with active vendor support
• Support Case follow up with respective vendors and Device replacement in case of hardware failure
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate risks.
• Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure network security best practices are followed.

Preferred candidate profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Network Security Engineer.
• Primary domain Hands-on experience with firewalls (Checkpoint, Forcepoint, Fortinet, Cisco ASA/FTD).
• Strong knowledge of VPNs (Remote Access, Client VPN, and IPSec VPN).
• Expertise in 2FA technologies and solutions.
• Solid understanding of IPS (Cisco and TrendMicro).
• Proficient in network concepts, including SD-WAN, routing protocols (OSPF/BGP), and TCP/IP.
• Experience using Wireshark for advanced network troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with cloud concepts and cloud firewall technologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
