Responsibilities : Invoice Processing : Receive, review, and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company policies. Enter and code invoices into the accounting system for processing. Vendor Communication : Communicate with vendors regarding invoice discrepancies, pricing issues, and payment status. Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve any payment-related concerns. Payment Processing : Prepare and process payments, including checks, electronic transfers, and ACH payments, within specified payment terms. Coordinate with relevant departments for payment approvals. Expense Reports : Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies. Reconciliation : Reconcile vendor statements and accounts payable ledger to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies. Vendor Relationship Management : Establish and maintain positive relationships with vendors, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing. Financial Reporting : Assist in preparing accounts payable reports, aging analysis, and month-end reconciliations. Process Improvement : Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the accounts payable function. Compliance : Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and company policies. Document Management : Maintain accurate records of invoices, payments, and related documentation.
