Job Description:
As a Territory Manager at IPL Biologicals, you will be responsible for driving sales and promoting our Biological Agri Products within a designated territory. You will develop and maintain strong relationships with Dealers and Channel Partners in Agri Domain, local agri influencers, farmers and other key decision-makers to increase product awareness and drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a territory sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Farmers via individual contact, Big Farmer meetings, Village Level Meetings etc.
- Communicate the benefits and demonstrate our agri products to Farmers , Dealers and Retailers and provide product education as needed for product sales.
- Identify opportunities for new business and maintain a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape within the territory
- Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, market trends, and customer feedback to management
- Work collaboratively with the marketing team to develop and implement sales and promotional campaigns
- Represent IPL Biologicals at industry conferences, trade shows, and other events to promote our products and build brand awareness
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture + ABM Preferred
- 3+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and timely collection targets
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Willingness to travel within the designated territory as needed
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Promote and Develope the Agri Biological Market in the allocated Territory and responsible for the achieving the agreed Sales and Collection Targets along with promotion of desired product mix , market development activities and farmer contact.
1) To generated the desired and Agreed sales target along with timely collections
2) Monitor the Dealer Network to ensure time liquidation of stock.
3) Ensure vigorous Market Development Activities and proper reporting and tracking of the activities so as to ensure timely liquidation of the products.
4) Energetic and self-driven to promote Biological solutions to our farmers.
5) Provide accurate feedback on stock position and stock requirement so as to ensure accurate Rolling Sales Plan for proper inventory planning and production.
6) Expert on local Farm practices and cropping patter and practices.
7) Good under-standing of crop nutritional requirements.
8) Understanding of crop Pest and Pathogen Management and deep understanding of how to take prevention activities.
9) Aware of local competition activities and reporting any market development on time.
10) Responsible for enrolling dealers with Good Reputation of Credit worthiness, presence and coverage so as to ensure a strong channel network.
11)Address queries such as MRP, leakage, credit note problem from the dealers etc.
12) Be informed on competitors products and communicate this information to senior management as well as to juniors so that everyone is updated on the competitors progress
13) Initiate the Field Day Meetings, Night Meetings and communicate with the farmers and other audience for demand generation.
14) Ensure review of the collection of receipts, product complaints and their handling, contributory, sales return and loose material return etc.
