Import Documentation Executive

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Should be updated with complete daily activities of AIR & SEA Import shipments & its documentation, Customs Clearance, International Freight Forwarding activities etc.

2. Capacity to work independently For AIR & SEA shipments.

3. Import Air & Sea Documentation. Experience Required 2 to 3 yrs.

4. Should act quickly of negotiating freight rates with Airlines, & IATA Agents & accordingly to quote for client's requirement.

5. Knowledge of Product HS code, custom notification. Advance License, EPGC License, E- sanchit.

6. Monitoring client shipments on day to day basis right from receiving booking order till the shipment reaches destination point.

7. Co-ordinating with shippers for new shipment required documents.

8. Knowledge of Import shipment handling process & documentation.

9. Co-ordinating with transporters, Operations staff.

10. Booking shipment with carrier & ensuring Import documents are noted with customs prior to arrival of shipment in order to avoid any delays & ensuring shipments custom cleared & handed over to carrier well in advance.

11. To handle all queries from origin and overseas with Billing related issues also.

12. Communicating and gathering requirements from shipper and to provide feedback to seniors.

13. Maintaining highest levels of confidentiality in handling all matters.

14. Dispatching post & pre-shipment shipping documents to shipper and maintaining records of the same.

15. Daily shipment tracking, follow-up with carriers for delayed shipments.

16. Daily MIS Reports-As required by Directors & Department Head with complete shipment activities in a respective month.

17. Assurance of complete accuracy while performing above mentioned tasks.

20. Shipping Line Co-ordination for IGM + D/O Details

21. Co-ordination with Air Line for IGM + D/O Details

22. Co-ordination with shippers / Consignee.

23. Will be responsible for all the above points.

Education:

(UG - Any Graduate - Any Specialization, Graduation Not Required, B. Com - Commerce) AND (PG- Any Postgraduate - Any Specialization, Post Graduation Not Required) AND (Doctorate- Any Doctorate - Any Specialization, Doctorate Not Required)
