Requirement of Slope protection/Geotechnical Engineer

Role & responsibilities

1. Review and check the geotechnical investigations plan and result submitted by the Contractors.

2. Review and check the design and drawings of slope/embankment protection measures and method statements.

3. Assist in issuing good for construction drawings to Contractor.

4. Supervise and monitor the contractors slope protection works.

Assist the Team Leader and the Senior Slope Protection Expert in all matters related to the slope protection and geotechnical issues.

Preferred candidate profile

Education:

• Graduate in Civil Engineering/Geology/Geotechnical Engineering

Experience:

• Experience in design and/or construction supervision of slope protection measures of highway/road projects- 18 years or more and 3 projects or more
• Experience of construction supervision of highway/road projects in similar capacity 10 years or more and 2 projects or more including at least one project funded by Multilateral/ Bilateral Agency(ies)
