Production Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Manager to oversee all aspects of our solar light manufacturing plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing production processes, ensuring quality control, and meeting production targets while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Planning & Scheduling:
• Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize resource utilization.
• Monitor production progress and identify potential bottlenecks.
• Adjust production plans as needed to address unforeseen challenges.
• Quality Control:
• Establish and maintain rigorous quality control standards throughout the production process.
• Conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions to address quality issues.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards and certifications.
• Team Management:
• Lead and supervise a team of production workers, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Motivate and empower the production team to achieve high levels of performance.
• Process Improvement:
• Continuously analyze production processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
• Investigate and implement new technologies and equipment to enhance production capabilities.
• Safety & Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Conduct regular safety audits and implement necessary safety measures.
• Investigate and address any safety incidents promptly.
• Inventory Management:
• Manage inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
• Minimize inventory costs while ensuring adequate supply to meet production demands.
• Cost Control:
• Monitor production costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable pricing on raw materials and components.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing) or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in production management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in managing production teams and achieving production targets.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and quality control methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems and other relevant software.
