Java Backend Developer

As a Java Backend Developer, you will be responsible for the design and build of Java components, API/Micro services.

You will partner with Leads/Architects in collaborative environment to build, deploy and maintain the solutions in both Non-Production and Production environments.

Technical Qualifications:

• Expertise with Java, SpringBoot Framework, SQL, API Development
• Strong in JAVA, J2EE, REST API and Microservices Architecture.
• Experience with Relational, and NoSQL Databases.
• Good Understanding of Basic Auth, two-way SSL, oauth2 or JWT token-based security.
• Experience with Bitbucket, Git/Hub, or other version control systems.
• Ability to develop and extend CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Docker)
• Comfortable with working either one of AWS, GCP, Azure Cloud Infrastructure.
• Experience with Junit, Mockito, Karate Testing frameworks

Generic Qualifications:

• Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs.
• Ability to manage time wisely across projects and competing priorities, meet agreed upon deadlines, and be accountable for work.
• Experience in working with a cross-functional team or large-scale software development life cycle, including waterfall and agile methodologies.
• Able to write maintainable and functionally tested modules.
• Willingness to learn and work on GoLang or other backend development languages/frameworks
• Interest in staying current with technology and mentoring others.
