Job Description Operations Executive

Core purpose of the role: To co-ordinate the day-to-day operational activities of voyage and time-chartered tankers.

Summary of responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with agreed charterparty terms.
• Oversee agency appointments.
• Communicate with charterers, brokers, agents and vessels regarding voyage orders and vessel itineraries.
• Handle letters of indemnities
• Monitor vessel movement and voyage performances.
• Review vessel stowage and tank cleaning plans
• Support Chartering desk in pre fixture documentation
• Liaise with owners regarding oil major approvals.
• Support claims team with claims related queries

Experience & Skills Required

• Shore based shipping operator/ Ops Executive experience (sailing experience is not mandatory)
• Sound commercial awareness
• Junior officers without operations experience also can apply.
• Applicants with minimum 1 year of experience in tanker vessel operations will have an added advantage.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
