Role & responsibilities

• Customization of Environment Health and Safety management system referring to the Company Scope of Work.
• Technical consultant and support services to be provided for Implementation of Company EHS System & high standard of Safety at site.
• Monitoring / Supervisory safety Measures at site
• Support on implementation of access control & system
• Usage of I-Safe tool - Digital reporting of safety data
• Verification of site safety condition, Behavior observation, Safety Violation, Permit, Access card, PPE compliance & all Safety related document.
• Implementation &Development of various checklists, inspection schedules, reports Related to core & other safety requirement, Various planned inspection like, Fire safety system monitoring, Eye shower, PPE stock and box, Safety signages, Confined space locking arrangement, Ladder inspection, monkey cage & swing gate monitoring etc.
• Preparation, Analysis and review the Reports with Local, Cluster and Corporate management team
• Participation in training, Induction program and providing the training& Induction to others.
• Incident Investigation assessment & verification
• Best safety Practices implementation
• Support Site Safety in charge to implement Kore/Legal Safety requirement at site
• Permit to work system implementation and monitoring.
• Support on different EOSH awareness event celebration activities at indicated locations.
• Safety committee meeting, Plant round, planned inspection, Support in different system and global audit clearance
• Need based training, Regular toolbox talk
• Different Safety culture improvement activity to perform and support site management team and show the ownership and responsibility.
• Such other services as may be prescribed and/or modified by the Company, by way of Standard Operating Practise of Safety Management Centre (SMC), from time to time.
• Service provider should ensure monitoring of quality of work from deputed safety in charge and take necessary action, if found any discrepancy of services at any of the CLIENT site.
• HOP implementation at site.
• E-Permit usage for all the works
• Active participation during all the audits (Internal & External)
• All the incoming materials and equipment need to be checked for the CLIENT requirements.
• Checklists for the incoming equipment need to be maintained and tags to be provided.
• Monitoring the works and ensure to report for all the unsafe acts, condition & Near Miss
• Stop the works which are not followed as per the standards and inform to the Safety Manager
• Active participation in mock drills and support the site team
• HIRA for the permit jobs to be verified and help the team
• Monthly reports and equipment to be checked as per the site requirements
• 8 Hours working for each person and should meet with all the legal requirements if any overtime is performed.
