Job Requirement
Customer Service Handle all incoming calls/emails from the Client business and suppliers related to Indirect purchasing process as the prime contact for inquiries. Provide users with estimated resolution timescales and escalate issues that cannot be resolved in line with defined procedures.
Queries may be related to the Indirect purchasing process including Policy, Buying Channel and preferred supplier guidance for indirect goods and services, requisition status and Ariba business application support. Managing telephone/email support
? Answer telephone/email requests promptly as a priority and in the required time ? Use standard greetings and polite and engaging attitude ? Proactively initiate follow-up calls/emails
? Maintain full scale knowledge of process area in order to be able to recommend the most appropriate solution for the requestor
? Provide timely, accurate and relevant information in order to delight the requestor
? Recognize and act on non-standard situations and adapt response to requestor?s needs Procurement Buying Process
? Manage and perform compliance checks for purchasing requisitions and triage them appropriately, report or escalate issues or delays as required
? Manage invoice exceptions resulting from Purchase Order and Invoice mismatches
? Request for quotations from suppliers as well as following up with supplier as needed
Other Responsibilities
? Proactively escalate issues and bring it to immediate supervisor attention
? Recommend updates to procedures and user guide to team lead
? Improve customer satisfaction measured by the Customer Satisfaction Survey Preferred Skills Requisition Processing, Purchase Order processing and Order Management experience
Experience with purchasing in a manufacturing organization Spot Buy and Quote experience
Understanding of end to end PTP process including Accounts Payable processes Experience driving purchasing compliance
Knowledge of standard controls within the PTP process
Experience with ticket tracking system such as Service Now and Call Management skills
Experience communicating with end users and suppliers in a business context across various levels in the organization.
Minimum of 2-5 years work experience
Resource has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration / Procurement / Supply Chain or other professional qualification such as Masters degree.
