7+ years experience on hands on experience as storage and backup administrator for Enterprise organization.
OEM Certification
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, B.Tech, MCA
Knowledge and troubleshooting experience on Backup and storage Environment
Knowledge on Dell EMC storage, Hpe 3par, Hitachi
Knowledge of Data protector
Knowledge of handing enterprise storage and backup systems
Experience on Tape management
Hands-on experience in implementing solutions using various backup and storage products from Hpe 3Par and Hitachi
Experience in creating Backup policies, schedules storage units, managing Linux and windows backup servers
Experience in Vmware and physical Synergy server
Knowledge of backup process involving all elements in backup infra
Knowledge of SAN and NAS
Experience in volume provisioning, snapshot, and protection group creation in 3par
Experience in filesystem and volumes creation, quota, user access.
Eperience in VMware Cluster
Hands-on experience in managing CISCO SAN switches or other SAN switches
Experience in Patch Management
Experience in CLI operations in storage and backup products
Experience in Power shell and Python scripts is plus
Guide operations teams during escalations
Experience in vendor management for support cases
Experience in storage and backup capacity management, reporting on the asset utilization and inventor
Knowledge on Virtualization technologies like VMware, Nutanix and Citrix Xen Server, TCP/IP Networking Technologies
Experience in FC ISCSI environment
Managing the reports using operations manager
A solid understanding of an operating system (Linux / Unix / Windows / ESX)
Enterprise environment responsibilities as assigned.
MS Active Directory.
MS Windows Server 2012-2019. (DNS, AD, DHCP, WSUS, WDS+MDT, IIS, RDP, GPOs)
Experience in creation of LUNs mapping to host, LUN / Server decommission,Meta Device creation / addition removal, Virtual
provisioning Tiering, local remote replication for Backup / DR
