Senior Associate - Global Indirect Tax & Trade (1-3 yrs)

Senior Associate- Global Indirect Taxes and Trade - Pune

Primary Responsibilities:

- Prepare and draft various types of litigation and advisory related documents for providing indirect tax services.

- Filing or presenting for obtaining DGFT related licenses, filing duty drawback application

- Liasoning with GST, customs and other tax authorities to support the clients.

- Manage and guide a team of 1-2 individuals for indirect tax related services.

- Manage a portfolio of clients and support the partner in providing global indirect tax and trade services.

- Independently discuss with clients and provide solutions as well as close negotiations.

- Help the partner in MIS and invoicing related support in respect of the existing clients

- Being responsive to client demands, project deadlines, and addressing team queries and resolution.

- Ensure minimum escalations from the client.

- Willingness to learn the subject matter and grow in the organisation

Role specific skillsets:

- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Indirect Tax including customs and FTP.

- Candidate must have an experience on indirect tax related advisories, litigations and liasoning with tax authorities

- Good communications skills and stakeholder management experience.

- Ability to manage clients through improvement planning and long term vision of improving service levels.

- Should take ownership of his/her work and initiate required activities to get the results.

- Problem solving attitude and willing to learn.
