Technician

Role & responsibilities

• Minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on experience in soldering and desoldering components at the PCB level. Experience with both through-hole and surface mount technology (SMT) components is ideal.
• Prior experience in manufacturing or assembling cables, including wire cutting, crimping, and terminal assembly.
• Experience with repairing, replacing, and reworking electronic components on PCBs.
• Understanding of electronic components, circuit boards, and electrical systems.
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot faulty solder joints, component defects, or cable manufacturing issues.
• Proficiency in using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and soldering irons.
• Conduct component-level repairs, including rework and replacement of defective parts on circuit boards.
• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot circuit boards and cables to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Use specialized tools and equipment (e.g., soldering irons, wire crimpers, and test equipment) safely and effectively.
• Follow safety protocols, including ESD protection, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• Good understanding of engineering principles, relevant technology, and systems
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Ability to work with clients to resolve technical issues while maintaining positive relationships.
