Job Description: Supply Chain Manager (Purchase & Stores)
Location: Noida, India
Company: Innovations Meditech (Radiology Imaging Solutions Provider specializing in CR/DR and X-ray equipment)

Position Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled and results-driven Supply Chain Manager to oversee the Purchase and Stores operations at our Noida office. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the procurement of materials, equipment, and supplies necessary for our radiology imaging solutions business, specifically related to CR/DR and X-ray systems. The Supply Chain Manager will also be responsible for efficient management of inventory, storage, and distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Procurement & Purchasing Management:
    • Oversee the purchasing process for all materials, components, and equipment related to CR/DR and X-ray systems.
    • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the timely procurement of materials, ensuring cost-effective purchasing without compromising quality.
    • Conduct regular market research to identify new suppliers and ensure competitive pricing for all purchased items.
    • Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers, ensuring favorable agreements and contract management.
    • Maintain a system for tracking purchase orders, deliveries, and invoices.
  2. Inventory & Stores Management:
    • Supervise the stores team to ensure accurate tracking, storing, and handling of materials and finished goods.
    • Maintain inventory levels by analyzing usage patterns and forecasting future requirements to avoid stockouts or overstock situations.
    • Implement best practices in inventory management, including regular stock checks and audits.
    • Manage the receipt, storage, and issue of materials and components used in the production or maintenance of CR/DR and X-ray products.
    • Ensure proper storage conditions for sensitive materials, including equipment and spare parts for radiology equipment.
  3. Supply Chain Optimization:
    • Identify opportunities to streamline the purchasing and inventory processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Develop and implement strategies to ensure that stock is available when needed for operations, with minimal waste and excess.
    • Collaborate with the production and technical teams to ensure alignment of supply chain processes with operational needs.
  4. Vendor Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure continuous supply and resolve any issues or delays promptly.
    • Evaluate vendor performance and conduct regular reviews to ensure compliance with agreed terms.
  5. Compliance & Documentation:
    • Ensure all procurement and inventory processes comply with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
    • Maintain accurate records of all transactions, including purchase orders, vendor agreements, and inventory audits.
    • Assist in preparing reports related to supply chain performance, including purchasing costs, inventory levels, and order fulfillment rates

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree or certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCP) is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on purchasing and inventory management in a technical or manufacturing environment, preferably in the healthcare or medical equipment sector.
  • Knowledge of CR/DR and X-ray equipment or medical imaging solutions is an advantage.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience managing vendor relationships.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and ERP systems (experience with supply chain modules is highly desirable).
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with internal teams and external suppliers effectively.
