Job Description
Create and maintain digital assets, such as interface design files and interactive prototypes using design and prototyping tools: Axure RP, Adobe XD, InVision, Adobe Photoshop. Translate concepts into user flows and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences. Design user journeys, and mock-ups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces. Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate product designs. Design, build, and maintain highly reusable HTML and CSS code. A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), rapid prototyping usability engineering. Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design. A portfolio that demonstrates understanding of SOLID user experience design principles. Be passionate about resolving user pain points through great design. Experience within user research and usability testing practices considered an asset. Good knowledge of the following is strongly desired: CSS, CSS extension languages (Less, Sass), and CSS preprocessor tools. HTML5 and its best practices. JavaScript considered an asset. Independent, motivated, self-starter, detail oriented and future focused. Time management skills - prioritize workload and manage expectations.
