About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior HR Manager to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and execute core HR functions while aligning people strategies with organizational objectives. As a key member of the HR team, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive work environment, driving employee engagement, and contributing to the company's success.


Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment and Talent Acquisition

  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, including workforce planning, job postings, screening, and onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to attract top talent and enhance employer branding.

2. Performance Management

  • Implement and oversee performance appraisal systems, including KPI setting and feedback processes.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and accountability through structured reviews.

3. Employee Engagement and Retention

  • Design and execute initiatives to boost employee morale, satisfaction, and productivity.
  • Conduct regular engagement surveys and develop action plans to address feedback.

4. Training and Development

  • Identify skill gaps and develop comprehensive training programs to upskill employees.
  • Oversee leadership development initiatives and manage trainings.

5. Compensation and Benefits

  • Manage payroll, incentives, and benefit structures in compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Benchmark compensation packages against industry standards to ensure competitiveness.

6. Compliance and Legal Coordination

  • Ensure adherence to Indian labor laws (EPF, ESI, Shops and Establishment Act, etc.).
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including offer letters, contracts, and exit formalities.

7. Policy Development and Implementation

  • Develop and update HR policies, ensuring alignment with company goals and local regulations.
  • Communicate and implement policies effectively across the organization.

8. HR Analytics and Reporting

  • Leverage HR analytics to monitor key metrics such as attrition, engagement, and hiring efficiency.
  • Provide actionable insights and reports to senior management.

9. Employee Relations

  • Act as a trusted advisor to resolve employee grievances and conflicts.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

10. Succession Planning and Organizational Development

  • Identify and nurture future leaders through targeted development programs.
  • Align workforce planning with long-term business strategies.

Requirements

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
  • Certifications in HR are an added advantage.

Experience

  • 6 - 8 years of progressive experience in HR, preferably in the IT industry.
  • Proven track record in recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, and policy development.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in HRMS/HRIS platforms such as GreyT or HRone.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with HR analytics and reporting.

Soft Skills

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and guide teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset.
