Software Development Engineer-II (C#, .Net)

We at Innovaccer are looking for a Software Development Engineer-II (C# & .Net) to build the most amazing product experience. You ll get to work with other engineers to build a delightful feature experience to understand and solve our customer s pain points.

A Day in the Life

• Application design, architecture, and working across teams (Infra, Security, Platform, UI) to develop and deliver backend solutions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers and leads to understand requirements, define technical solutions, and deliver high-quality software products.
• Set standards for framework design, efficient and performant solutions
• Work with Infra teams to maintain and deliver applications to customers.
• Write clean, efficient, modular and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor engineers to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Optimize application performance by identifying and addressing bottlenecks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring system reliability and stability.
• Lead overall architecture, design, and development of the backend services and components, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and extensibility of the system.

What You Need

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3 to 6 years on backend microservices, data, cloud, observability etc.
• Primary: Familiarity with C#, .NET Core, SQL, Cloud (Azure/ AWS), Docker, RDBMS (such as SQL Server and/or Postgres).
• Secondary: Python, DJango/ FastAPI/ Flask/ Sanic
• Deep knowledge of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with unit testing, TDD, and writing testable code.
• Familiarity with build tools, package managers, and version control systems (eg, Webpack, Babel, npm, Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly debug and resolve complex issues.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and deliver high-quality software solutions within tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical thinking and a data-driven mindset to make informed decisions.
• Experience working in an agile development environment is preferred.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and frameworks in frontend development, and actively contribute to technical discussions and decision-making processes.
