Senior Executive or Assistant Manager - Purchase

As a Senior Executive/Assistant Manager Purchase focused on APIs, Intermediates, CSP Sourcing, you will be responsible for managing procurement processes, vendor relationships, and inventory control. This role is ideal for professionals with 3-7 years of experience in procurement, specifically in the pharmaceutical intermediates sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Procurement Management: This role revolves around efficiently managing the procurement process of chemicals, raw materials, standards, columns, impurities, solvents and related supplies necessary for the company's operations. Handle procurement activities for pharmaceutical intermediates, from requisition to payment, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

• Sourcing & Negotiation: Source and evaluate the best potential suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed. Negotiate and establish favorable terms and agreements with suppliers.

• Supply Chain Optimization: Collaborate with internal teams to understand procurement needs and specifications. Prepare purchase orders and ensure accuracy in terms of quantity, specifications, and pricing. Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies to optimize costs.

• Inventory & Vendor Management: Monitor inventory levels and reorder points to maintain optimal stock levels. Track and expedite orders to ensure on-time delivery. Develop and manage strong relationship with suppliers, negotiating prices and delivery terms to optimize cost and supply.

• Data Accuracy & Compliance: Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements using Tally ERP. Resolve any supply, quality, or delivery issues in a timely manner. Stay updated on market trends, compliance, new products, and suppliers in the industry.

REQUIREMENT:

○ For 3-5 years of experience:

○ Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.

○ 2-3 years of experience in pharmaceutical procurement, with a focus on intermediates.

○ Knowledge of Tally ERP and regulatory standards.
