DevOps Engineer- Cloud Services (5-8 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Cloud Engineer / DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and applications. You will play a key role in automating and streamlining our cloud operations, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities :

Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Management :

- Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP. Implement and manage core cloud services, including compute, storage, networking, and security.

- Ensure the availability, scalability, and performance of cloud-based applications. Implement and maintain high availability and disaster recovery (HA/DR) solutions.

DevOps & Automation :

- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab.

- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, ARM, and CloudFormation.

- Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate them using Kubernetes, Rancher, or Docker Swarm. Implement and manage container registries (e.g., Docker Hub, ECR).

Security & Compliance :

- Implement and manage security best practices, including access control, encryption, and vulnerability scanning.

- Ensure compliance with relevant security and compliance standards.

Monitoring & Logging :

- Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions using tools like Prometheus, Zabbix, Nagios, and NewRelic.

- Aalyze logs and metrics to identify and resolve performance issues.

Integration & Collaboration :

- Integrate cloud services with on-premises systems.

- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications.

Scripting & Automation :

- Automate tasks using scripting languages like Groovy, Bash, and Python.

Qualifications :

Experience :

- 5+ years of experience in cloud computing and DevOps.

Technical Skills :

- Strong experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation).

- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Zabbix, Nagios, NewRelic).

- Strong scripting skills (Groovy, Bash, Python).

- Experience with networking concepts (DNS, Edge, Caching).

- Good understanding of security principles and best practices.
