Cloud Engineer - DevOps (4-8 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and build IAAS, SAAS, and PAAS solutions from scratch to support high-scale, low-latency, and secure applications.

- Implement best practices to ensure high availability, high reliability, and disaster recovery.

- Manage AWS cloud environments with services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, and more.

- Optimize infrastructure costs while maintaining performance and scalability.

- Configure and manage high-availability MySQL databases.

- Implement partitioning and sharding strategies for NoSQL databases to handle large-scale, distributed systems.

- Monitor and optimize database performance, backups, and recovery.

- Build and manage end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.

- Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes or other container orchestration tools.

- Set up automated deployment pipelines for different stages, including Dev, QA, Load, Staging, Pre-Prod, and Production.

- Set up and maintain logging and monitoring systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or similar.

- Proactively identify and resolve issues to ensure system reliability and performance.

- Ensure secure cloud configurations and implement best practices for data protection.

- Conduct regular security assessments and implement compliance measures as required.

- Automate repetitive tasks and processes to enhance productivity and reduce downtime.

- Optimize application performance across the development lifecycle.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Cloud Expertise : Strong experience in AWS services and architecture.

- DevOps Tools : Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI, or Travis CI.

- Containers and Orchestration : Proficient in Docker and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or

- Expertise in managing high-availability MySQL databases.

- Experience in NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB) with partitioning and sharding.

- Logging and Monitoring : Strong knowledge of tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and AWS CloudWatch.

- Programming/Scripting : Proficiency in languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

- Strong communication skills for collaboration across teams.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.

- Knowledge of other cloud platforms like Azure or Google Cloud.

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

- Familiarity with load testing and performance optimization tools.
