Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Automation QC Architect to lead our quality assurance efforts. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks for both web, API and mobile applications. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills, capable of creating reusable, scalable automation solutions that enhance testing efficiency and quality of software systems.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Automation Strategy and Framework Development :

- Design and develop robust, reusable automation frameworks for web and mobile applications.

- Create and implement comprehensive test automation strategies aligned with business goals and project requirements.

- Evaluate and recommend appropriate tools and technologies for test automation across different platforms.

2. Web and Mobile Application Testing :

- Lead the design and implementation of automated test suites for web applications, covering various browsers and devices.

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms.

- Ensure cross-platform compatibility and consistency in automated testing approaches.

3. Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) :

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support rapid development and deployment cycles.

- Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize test execution within the CI/CD environment.

4. Performance and Security Testing : (Nice to Have)

- Design and implement automated performance testing strategies for web and mobile applications.

- Incorporate security testing automation into the overall QA process.

5. Technical Leadership :

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to QA engineers and automation specialists.

- Review and approve test designs, automation scripts, and testing approaches.

- Stay updated on emerging QA technologies and methodologies, driving innovation in testing practices.

6. Reporting and Analytics :

- Develop comprehensive, automated reporting systems for test results and quality metrics.

- Analyze test results to identify trends, recurring issues, and areas for improvement in both the product and testing processes.

7. Collaboration and Communication :

- Work closely with development teams, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment of QA efforts with project goals.

- Present QA strategies, test results, and quality metrics to technical and non-technical audiences.

8. Best Practices and Training :

- Establish and enforce best practices for test automation across the organization.

- Develop and deliver training programs on automation tools, frameworks, and methodologies.

Skills and Qualifications required :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.

- 12+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 5 years focused on test automation.

- Extensive experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks for web and mobile applications.

- Strong programming skills in languages commonly used for test automation (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).

- Proficiency with popular automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, Rest Assured,WebdriverIO,Cypress,TestNG, Junit,Mocha).

- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).

- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and testing in Agile environments.

- Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms and services.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.

- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with API testing and tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured).

- Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).

- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

- Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.

- Certifications in relevant QA methodologies or automation tools.
