Costing Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Knowledge on costs related to manufacturing, processing, assembly etc. for systems and components
• Aptitude to learn and invest time in theory of new processes, materials etc. and how to apply them in real world scenarios
• Experience of working with Global partners (customers, suppliers etc.), and interacting with cross functional teams, including foreign nationals
• Experience & knowledge in costing & supplier development of small to mid size Parts of metal machining, sheet metal stamping, casting, forging, spring & plating/painting etc
• Budget for Department Overheads and PBT analysis.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• Graduate with 10+ or MBA with 7+ years experience in manufacturing/automotive industry
• Well versed in engineering principals like, strength of materials, dynamic and static load cases, part dimensions & tolerance study, etc.
• Willingness to constantly learn and take new challanges.
