Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Design Engineer with a strong foundation in plastic automotive part design and a solid understanding of tool design and development processes. The ideal candidate will possess a creative mindset, problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality, innovative solutions.
  • Responsibilities:
  • * Conceptualize, design, and develop new plastic automotive parts, including interior and exterior components, using UG/NX,CATIA software
  • * Conduct feasibility studies, analyze design alternatives, and optimize part designs for manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and performance.
  • * Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, tooling, quality) to ensure smooth product development and timely launch.
  • * Develop and maintain detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
  • * Conduct design reviews and present design concepts to stakeholders.
  • * Perform root cause analysis of design-related issues and implement corrective actions.
  • * Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in plastic part design and manufacturing.
  • * Support the development and maintenance of design standards and guidelines.
  • * Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department.
