Job Description
- Translate business requirements into analytics solutions ranging from data storage, ETL (extract/transform/load), and data modeling for business consumption i.e. APIs, EventStreaming, etc.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
- Responsible to support and enhance enterprise data platforms
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to understand data needs and implement effective data solutions
- Implement data quality and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency
- Optimize and tune data pipelines for performance and efficiency
- Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Research and evaluate new technologies and tools to enhance data processing capabilities
- Work in Agile framework and ceremonies with PM/SM and ensure systems meet business requirements and industry practices
Requirements-
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with 5-7 years relevant experience.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, Pyspark and Big data.
- Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
- Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases
