Azure Data Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Azure Data Engineer with 6-8 years of hands-on experience in developing and implementing data pipelines on the Azure platform. The ideal candidate should be proficient in data engineering tools and technologies and passionate about building robust data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain end-to-end data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Analytics.

Design and implement data storage solutions using Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 (ADLS Gen2).

Write and optimize data transformation scripts using Python and SQL.

Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to understand requirements and build scalable solutions.

Work on big data processing tasks using PySpark and Databricks (good to have).

Ensure data quality and consistency across the pipeline workflows.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability.

Document development processes, technical specifications, and workflows.

Qualifications and Requirements:

6-8 years of hands-on experience in data engineering, focusing on Azure technologies.

Strong proficiency in Azure Data Factory, ADLS Gen2, and Azure Synapse Analytics.

Excellent scripting skills in Python and strong command of SQL for data manipulation and transformation.

Hands-on experience with PySpark and Databricks is highly desirable.

Experience in implementing and maintaining data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and data integration solutions.

Good understanding of data modeling and pipeline orchestration.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver results.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
