Job Description

Job Summary:

As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for driving sales of our electrical, instrumentation, and electronics products by providing technical expertise and solutions to our customers. You will act as a bridge between our technical team and clients, ensuring that our products meet their requirements while achieving sales targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales within the electrical, instrumentation, or electronics industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales and Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
    • Achieve and exceed sales targets by promoting and selling the companys products.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  2. Technical Expertise:
    • Provide technical support and product recommendations to customers.
    • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of our offerings.
    • Collaborate with the technical team to address customer inquiries and resolve technical issues.
  3. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Understand customer needs and propose tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through timely follow-ups and after-sales support.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts.
  4. Market Analysis:
    • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth.
    • Provide feedback to the management team on customer needs, market demands, and product improvements.
  5. Collaboration and Reporting:
    • Work closely with the marketing, technical, and logistics teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
    • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to the management team.

Qualifications:

  1. Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the electrical, instrumentation, or electronics industry.
    • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  3. Skills and Competencies:
    • Strong technical knowledge of electrical, instrumentation, and electronics products.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
    • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Willingness to travel as required.
