A formal education in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (master s or bachelor s degree preferred). 5+ years of experience in accounting, auditing, or financial reporting within a similar or larger organization. Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, including IFRS, GAAP, and IKEA s accounting frameworks. A solid understanding of financial and operational processes, compliance, and risk assessment. Experience in reconciliations, journal entries, intercompany charges, and accruals. Knowledge of data analytics and new technologies in a financial context. Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and lead change initiatives. Proficiency in English (written and spoken). Your responsibilities As an Accounting Reporting Specialist, you will: Ensure accurate and timely execution, preparation, and submission of financial reports in compliance with Ingka Group frameworks, local GAAP, and applicable regulations. Maintain high-quality accounting and reporting to support business steering and compliance. Review quality issues, communicate with stakeholders, and support remediation. Perform reconciliations, analytical reviews, and internal controls to ensure financial accuracy. Review, prepare, post, and reconcile journal entries (e.g., SAREC+, costs, revenues, accruals, intercompany charges). Work closely with Group and Country teams to align on global financial frameworks and local compliance needs. Participate in global projects, supporting automation and simplification of financial processes. Support internal and external audits, statutory filings, and compliance activities. Maintain strong relationships between business owners, core areas, and process teams within IKEA. Contribute to continuous business growth, competence development, and succession planning. Ensure a safe working environment for co-workers and external consultants.
