Conducts activities as an individual contributor in support of small to medium projects/functions or small to medium business units. Assignments provide exposure to fundamental financial concepts /issues/ activities.
Essential Functions
Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded correctly.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS/GAAP.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Assist with internal and external audits.
Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and potential areas for improvement.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
Work closely with other finance team members and departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
Establish and maintain strong financial controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Assist junior team members with their tasks and provide guidance as needed.
Back up for other team members and counter parts in business supported.
Document and update department procedures.
Perform other duties as necessary.
Minimum Requirements
Professional degree in Accounting / Finance (CA/ICWA)
3 -5 years of experience in Financial Accounting
Experience in MNC Preferable
Experience in ERP, MS Excel
