Role & responsibilities

Job Title: Assistant Sales Manager Channel Sales

Department: Sales & Marketing

Reports To: Sales Manager / Regional Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities :

1. Channel Partner Management
• Identify, onboard, and nurture channel partners to expand the distribution network.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners to ensure loyalty and long-term collaboration.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide necessary support to channel partners to meet their sales goals.
2. Sales Strategy & Execution
• Develop and execute sales plans to meet or exceed assigned targets through channel partners.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with channel partners to implement promotional campaigns and strategies.
3. Training & Development
• Train channel partners and their teams on product knowledge, sales techniques, and marketing strategies.
• Provide ongoing support to enhance channel partners' sales effectiveness.
4. Operational Support
• Monitor channel partners inventory levels, ensuring timely replenishment.
• Address any issues or challenges faced by channel partners, providing prompt solutions.
• Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to the senior management.
5. Compliance & Reporting
• Ensure all channel activities adhere to company policies and legal regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of channel partner agreements and performance metrics.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s / Master degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Experience: 7–9 years of experience in channel sales or distribution management.
• Skills:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
