Job Summary:

We are hiring for a dynamic Senior/Lead Data Engineer to spearhead the data engineering initiatives within our Digital Media Team (DM) and drive business growth. This role demands a candidate with a proven track record of delivering scalable data engineering solutions for Enterprise and Fortune 500 companies. As a key team member, you will be responsible for architecting and building robust data platforms, leveraging advanced AWS Cloud services, and enabling predictive analytics to deliver high-value business outcomes within defined SLAs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience deploying AI models and algorithms for advanced analytics on AWS platforms.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools.
• Knowledge of integrating Node.js and React.js for enhancing platform capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Platform Architecture & Development:

• Understand client requirements and design a scalable, reusable, and robust data platform leveraging AWS Cloud systems.
• Build and maintain data pipelines for batch and streaming data ingestion, ensuring scalability and efficiency for new data platforms.
• Develop and deploy Big Data platforms using AWS services, including Streaming & Batch Data Ingestion tools.
• Design and implement AI-powered components for predictive analytics, enabling real-time insights at scale.
• Create reusable components for accelerating platform development and ensuring standardization across data engineering solutions.

Collaboration & Delivery:

• Collaborate with application teams to provide essential data platform support for seamless user journeys.
• Own the technical product backlogs, ensuring timely completion while maintaining high quality.
• Work closely with stakeholders, including AI, Data Visualization, UX, and Research teams, in an Agile environment to drive innovation.

Desired Skillsets:

• Strong understanding of AWS Cloud services and the ability to utilize them effectively for data platform development.
• Expertise in creating and deploying high-quality, production-grade code with a focus on performance and scalability.
• Proficiency in GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and robust unit testing practices.
• Hands-on experience with technologies such as Node.js, React.js, TypeScript, APIs, Document DB, and working with JSON files.
• Working knowledge of Python for data processing and analytics workflows.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's or Masters degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in designing, building, and delivering data engineering solutions, with a focus on enterprise-scale data visualization and analytics.
• Demonstrated ability to build end-to-end data pipelines and platforms to support analytic workloads.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with AI, data visualization, and experimental teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.
