Qualifications
Basic
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• At least 6-12 years of experience with Information Technology

Skill Requirements

• Application development using python, AWS lambda.
• Deep understanding of application development using advance python programming and object oriented concepts
• Knowledge of python libraries such as numpy, pandas, celery
• Knowledge of gRPC/protobuf, Kubernetes and Redis
• Monitor the production runs from ETL informatica and stonebranch including the Staging data from multiple source systems
• Developing ETL transformations for populating ODS (operational data store) and storing historical data into our internal data warehouse.
• Design and implement ETL solutions for reporting purposes
• Prompt communications in case of any delays or issues that is blocking our production operations.
• Troubleshooting any ETL failures using existing documentation and documenting new issues if any
• Monitor and maintain application security and integrity
• Monitor application performance and assist in tuning existing flows for performance
• Assist with release or change management process
• Server-side development skills like multithreading, networking, asynchronous IO, databases
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps
• Working in SCRUM team, using GIT and branching mechanisms

Responsibilities:

• Develop custom bespoke solutions based on the business requirements. Performs software design using software development fundamentals and processes, debug, test, and deploy software solutions.
• Design, develop and maintain key components of the software suite using Open Source.
• Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
• Actively participate in application design reviews by providing creative and practical ideas and solutions in a teamwork environment.
