Senior RD Engineer - NPD

Role & responsibilities:

Exposure to Single-Use Device NPD Cycle (at least 1 product; concept to commercialization)

• Hands-on experience in test method development
• Statistics and Minitab.
• Understanding of Mechanical engineering concepts/ first principle
• Knowledge of material sciences and processing Metals, Polymers, Plastics. The candidate should be able to apply knowledge of materials and processes to design
• Setting technical specifications & Design requirements

Nice to have

• Exposure to testing and programming equipment like UTM
• Understanding of design considerations (injection moulding and extrusion)
• Catheter design
• Windchill
• Tolerance stack up
• Project management with proficiency in MS projects or similar tools.
• Working knowledge of ANSYS or any other analysis software tool.
• Working understanding of CAD software like SolidWorks, CATIA etc

Skill Set:

Must have -

Strong Mech Design (Medical Domain) in NPD activities /Cycle,

Design and Development of Plastic desing & manufacturing

Material sciences and processing - Metals, Polymers, Plastic knowledge,

Mechanical engineering concepts/ first principle

CAD -Solidworks , Tool Stackup, ECN/ECR
