Preferred candidate profile

1. Troubleshooting and fixing Prod incident

2. DB2 upgrade and patching (Mandatory)

3. HADR with TSA including multiple standby setup (Mandatory)

4. DB encryption (In transit and at rest) (Mandatory)

5. Handling Database performance issues (Mandatory)

6. New Database setup according to business requirement

7. Database backup and restore

8. Data movement utilities (export, import and load)

9. Storage space estimation

10. Database maintenance activities (reorg, runstats)

11. Scripting knowledge

Skills /Competencies:

1 Essential:

• Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.

2. Preferred:

• Providing 24X7 Support and maintenance to all Database servers.

3. Additional Skills:

• Strong Communication & Management skills and, expertise in Onsite/offshore and Client coordination.
• Excellent customer interfacing skills.
• Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical and Problem-solving skills.
